Tuesday Morning Quarterback

Having a rather brutal stretch of work/class the past couple of weeks, I was unable to watch the BCS Championship game beyond halftime. But there are several things that should be noted:
1. Ted Ginn Jr. injured himself, and his team's chances of the Championship, celebrating in the first quarter.
2. The SEC's baseless reputation for "Speed" will be perpetuated again thanks to some pretty inept football from THE ohio state university. Now we have to listen to yet another year of Corso blathering on and on abou the conference being 'faster'. Thanks tOSU.
3. Although it's beyond me why Sports Illustrated would hire a Northwestern grad as its College Football Writer, Stewart "I Piss Everyone Off" Mandel made a little bit of sense in his Early Look Ahead: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/stewart_mandel/01/09/look.ahead/index.html

Well, only 3+ weeks until National Signing Day (get ready for the ESPN hype machine!), and a little over 3 months until the Spring Scrimmage.........

For the glory.....

for the record, can the gators win a national championship by going undefeated please. as psu fans we are aware that sometimes even undefeated teams do not get championships but i believe the gators only have 2, once they lost to fsu and this year they lost to auburn. so kudos to the gators for being liked by the pollsters.

I agree... Dogger says if you go undefeated from a major conference you will go to the title game - I'm definitely aware of that but now what I'm also aware of is if you lose 1 game in the big ten you are automatically out of the title game (unlike the sec).
